2029 Online Overview

2029 Online is an innovative MMORPG by IGG that combines RTS (Real Time Strategy) tactics and social interaction to enhance its gameplay. The player is allowed to create a character by selecting from one of the three available races and a gender to suit. A static avatar can be selected from a sizable selection to help players differentiate their character from others. The game’s story unfolds on an alien planet named Helen Continent, where different cultures struggle for survival. 2029 Online’s great user interface promotes and allows for great social interaction and a rich gaming experience. Like most free MMORPGs, character diversity is unfortunately quite limited, as players are allowed to choose between only three different races:

Humans: The humans have arrived on Helen Continent due to the destruction of their home, Earth. They are portrayed to care mainly about politics and wealth, and favor the use of guns.

Dryads: These forest giants are supposed to be the peaceful brutes of nature. Starting off with primitive club-type weapons, Dryads use their strength and connection to nature to their advantage.

Electric Elves: This mysterious race has a background that remains largely unknown. They are said to be conceited and keep mainly to themselves, wielding their intelligence as their main weapon.

5 Foods Your Kids Should Be Eating

5 Foods Your Kids Should Be Eating

Want to help your kids do better in school, have lasting energy, and grow up strong and healthy? Here are my best mom-tested ideas for getting 5 of the healthiest, nutrient-packed foods on to your kids’ plates!
Salmon: For boosting brain health
Fatty fish like salmon is far and away the best source of omega-3 fats, which have been shown to improve cognitive function in infants and children. Omega-3s, specifically the type known as DHA, are a critical component of brain cell membranes. Getting your little ones to eat fish may be a struggle, but keep trying: Research shows it’s never too late to reap the brain-boosting benefits of a diet high in omega-3s. Make salmon more kid-friendly by topping it with a sweet glaze like teriyaki, or mix flaked salmon into a pasta dish with a tasty lemon-and-garlic sauce.

How to Sneak Calcium Into Your Kid’s Diet

http://images.agoramedia.com/JoyBauer/cms/osteoporosis-my-kids-wont-drink-milk-q&a-dairy-165.jpg

How can I make sure that my children are getting the calcium they need?

Q: My kids won’t drink milk, and I can’t stand drinking it myself — should I worry about the amount of calcium we’re getting?

Milk is an easy way to get calcium, but it is certainly not the only way. All dairy foodscontain calcium, and many kids enjoy eating yogurt and string cheese. Whenever possible, substitute foods your kids already eat with calcium-fortified versions. For example, there are calcium-fortified waffles and orange juice. For children ages 1 to 3, aim for 500 mg calcium per day, which equates to about 2 servings of calcium-rich foods per day. Kids 4 to 8 years old require 800 mg, or 3 daily servings of calcium-rich foods. Older children and teens (ages 9 to 18) need 1300 mg per day, which equates to about 4 servings of calcium-rich foods per day.If your children are consistently falling short on calcium, you can always try one of the candy-flavored calcium chews. My experience has shown that most kids don’t like the chocolate flavors that adults are drawn to — they may eat them for a couple days, but then the appeal wears off. Instead, choose one of the other flavors, such as caramel or fruity flavors. (Always be careful to store the supplements where your children can’t get them: If they think of them as candy, you can bet they’ll be looking for opportunities to grab extras, and too much calcium can be dangerous.)

Another way to slip some calcium and vitamin D into your kids’ diets is to buy a pill crusher at your local pharmacy and mix one crushed calcium pill into a yogurt, low-fat pudding, or other soft foods.

Don’t let colds catch you.
‘Tis the season — the season for runny noses, sneezing, coughing, and congestion. Colds are everywhere right now, but even if everyone in the office or classroom is sick, you and your family members don’t have to surrender to the stuffy nose and sore throat. Though you can’t actually “cure” a cold, you can improve the way you feel with some simple remedies — and you can do plenty to boost your immune system and ward off getting sick in the first place. Not all remedies are effective, though; here are my best 5 tips for what works and what doesn’t.

8 Ways to Boost Your Energy

http://images.agoramedia.com/joybauer/cms/healthy-living-tired-tips-intro-320.jpg

Get enough sleep.
If you can’t get out of bed in the morning, have trouble keeping up with your kids, or find yourself dragging throughout the day, it’s time to take action! Reclaim your energy and vitality by making small changes to your lifestyle and diet. The best way to start is by getting more sleep. Research proves that sleep deprivation can be detrimental to your health and weight (not to mention your mood!) — so aim for seven to nine hours of shut–eye each night. Start by resetting your body clock: For one week, go to bed at the same time each night and wake up at the same time each morning.
